Scholarships

Qualified students in the regular Thai programs are awarded scholarships if certain qualifications are met. The announcements are made in Thai and posted on the Faculty of Engineering website (www.eng.kmutnb.ac.th)

For Bilingual/English/International programs, two types of merit-based scholarships are available

1) A full scholarship: the full tuition is reimbursed after attending the program.
Scholarship Qualifications:

  • Students have an accumulated GPA of more than 3.00 (out of 4.00 scale) from high school or equivalent degree.
  • Students must not receive other kinds of scholarship at the same time.
  • Students must get a TOFEL (PBT) test score of 450 or higher (an equivalent score in other English standardized tests are also applicable) at the time of submitting the scholarship application.

Note: The full scholarship will be awarded to a selected group of students from the first semester onward. It will be renewed through the duration of the program as long as the recipients maintain accumulated GPAs of more than 3.25.

2) A partial scholarship: a subsidy of 20,000 Baht is reimbursed after attending the program. The student is still responsible for the remaining fees.
Scholarship Qualifications:

  • Students must not receive other kinds of scholarship at the same time.
  • Students must get a TOFEL (PBT) test score of 450 or higher (an equivalent score in other English standardized tests are also applicable) at the time of submitting the scholarship application.
  • Current students in the program who maintain an accumulated GPA of more than 2.85 may apply for the scholarship.

Recipients of the scholarships will be selected by a committee from the Faculty of Engineering. The scholarships are awarded on a semester basis. **
