From 26 March midnight until 30 April,
the Thai government will enact Emergency Decree in an attempt to curb the transmission of COVID-19

In compliance with the cabinet resolution of Thailand, it has been decided as a precautionary measure that
KMUTNB is temporary closed and all face-to-face lecture classrooms will be canceled starting 18 March to 12 April 2020 or until further notice.

Thailand is currently facing the unstable COVID-19 spread monitoring and it has a possibility to extend beyond control if KMUTNB could not comply with the most recent restrict measures to prohibit any international mobility activity.

Consequently, there would be a severe inconvenience that you may experience during the stay in Thailand, especially the international inbound students and staff who are from the monitoring countries of COVID-19 as the Thai government stated must undergo the infection screening and monitoring (see the list of country here:

The entry to Thailand is still valid (as of March 19, 2020).
However, they will be required to proceed the self-quarantine at residence for 14 days before participating any activities in KMUTNB. The medical certificate without COVID-19 detected is required and travel medical insurance is highly recommended during the visit. The availability of sanitary mask is scarce, so it should be prepared in advance.

KMUTNB strongly believes that the COVID-19 situation could be managed and it will be relieved soon with everybody’s cooperation and strict order in accordance with suggested measures from government and KMUTNB.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
