    Electrical and Computer Engineering department at the KMUTNB has a long history in establishing Thailand’s progress and development in areas of electrical and computer engineering. The undergraduate programs provide well-structured learning processes for students with various academic backgrounds such as Vocational Education Certificate (Electrical or Electronics fields) and High School Graduates (Science – mathematics). So students will have strong talents in both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Moreover, the programs encourage students to create innovation ideas useful for their career paths.
    The ECE department also offers strong graduate study programs both in Master and Ph.D. degrees. More than 50 Master and Ph.D. students have graduated per year and most of them work in well-known organizations. The graduate study programs emphasize on research and development having high impacts on education, industry, and society sectors. Moreover, there are several publications which are published in well-known national and international conferences as well as well-recognized journals.
Moreover, the department provides various public services including engineering consultants, product/prototype design and testing, process planning, technology management, and research contract, for both government and private organizations.

Carrier Paths for the Graduates
    Students graduated from the department of electrical and computer engineering can work in private companies, government/non-government organizations, and state enterprises such as manufacturing related companies, EGAT, Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA), Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA), and private software houses.
In addition, they can work as independent professionals. Students receiving a degree in automation engineering can work in the areas of industrial control systems and instrumentation. Students graduated with a degree in telecommunication engineering can work in telecommunication state-enterprises such as CAT and TOT as well as in private companies involving in communication. Students graduated with a degree in computer engineering can work in computer-related areas, for example, computer systems for industry.

    Our graduated students are qualified for further study (such as master and Ph.D. degrees) in their home country or abroad.
