There are four approaches to apply to our programs:
1) National Admission System (GAT/PAT)
As a state university, KMUTNB admits some students from the nationwide admission process conducted by the Thai government. High school graduates or those with equivalent degree must take the General Aptitude Test (GAT) or the Professional and Academic Aptitude Tests (PAT) and select the departments within the Faculty of Engineering, KMUTNB, as their choices to enter this nationwide admission system. The scores are valid for two years. Qualified test scores for admission vary from department-to-department, and also fluctuate from year-to-year. Students must determine the test schedule and the application process from the central admission website: http://www.cuas.or.th/.
2) KMUTNB Admission System
KMUTNB also conducts its own admission process for students who wish to secure their seats at the university prior to the National Admission System process. Graduates from a high school or a vocational school in Thailand can download the application form from the university website: http://www.admission.kmutnb.ac.th or directly purchase an application booklet from the university. The students then rank a list of interested programs and take the examinations on the subjects required by these programs. Admission decision will be made according to the test scores and the number of available seats in the highest-ranked program.
Note: If the students are accepted for admission from the KMUTNB Admission System, they will be automatically removed from the National Admission System.
3) Walk-in Application
English/International Programs in the Faculty of Engineering accept walk-in applications for students who study abroad or currently attend international schools in Thailand. The applying students must be in the last year of or graduating from a high school or an equivalent institution as acknowledged by the Thai education system.
