KMUTNB Joins KOICA Workshop as New Volunteer Brings Korean Culture to Campus

On 16 May 2025, KOICA Thailand hosted a Partner Organization Workshop at Swissotel Ratchada Bangkok. Mr. Sanghoon Lee, Counsellor at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, and Mrs. Arunee Hiam, Deputy Director-General of TICA, gave the opening remarks.

Asst. Prof. Tanaporn Rojhirunsakool, representing King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), also attended the workshop. This year, the Faculty of Engineering at KMUTNB welcomed Ms. Jiyoon Park, a KOICA Volunteer, who will be teaching Korean language and culture to both staff and students.

A group discussion followed to exchange feedback and recommendations for improving future collaboration. The workshop concluded with closing remarks by Mrs. Youngsuk Jun, Country Director of KOICA.

The workshop served as a meaningful platform to celebrate shared achievements, deepen partnerships, and reaffirm our collective commitment to enhancing the impact of KOICA’s volunteer initiatives across Thailand.
