Announcing an exciting development in supporting our young talents from Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam, the TUM Asia-DAAD Aerospace Engineering Scholarship.
The TUM Asia-DAAD Aerospace Engineering Scholarship is awarded to exemplary student candidates from Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam who are enrolled in TUM Asia’s Master of Science (MSc) in Aerospace Engineering programme. The scholarship aims to elevate the capabilities of aerospace engineering in the ASEAN region and boost greater participation in aerospace-engineering-related higher education and careers,
Award recipients are able to receive scholarship up to S$23,000 (€16,500)* during the first year of study, which can defray nearly 95% of the tuition fees incurred in the first year of their postgraduate study. In addition, exceptional students will also be given the opportunity to receive a scholarship of equivalent value consecutively in the second year of their postgraduate study.
Eligibility criteria
Interested applicants who have a bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Advanced Mechanics, Mechatronics, Robotics, Avionics, Aircraft Engineering or in a closely related discipline with remarkable results must meet the following criteria:
- Indonesia, Thailand or Vietnam citizen
- Successfully enrolled in TUM Asia’s Mater of Science in Aerospace Engineering programme
- Have a strong interest in the Aerospace Engineering field
Application process
Applicants who would like to apply for the TUM Asia-DAAD Aerospace Engineering Scholarship can do so by applying for the TUM Asia MSc in Aerospace Engineering programme and submitting relevant documentation as well as a motivation letter. Shortlisted candidates will be notified and invited for an interview, who will be evaluated by a 10-member Scholarship Committee.
